Position Overview

  • Manage inventory across multiple facilities & various business channels per topline operation targets
  • Collaborate with engineering to execute & manage system updates in both internal systems and warehouse systems
  • Ensure warehouses maintain proper inventory levels & manage product appropriately across the supply chain
  • Create & manage robust reporting on key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, & quarterly analysis on current inventory trend and impact to the bottom line
  • Gather data and provide recommendations to support product & gross margin strategies
  • Forecast new SKU level buy recommendations & provide hindsight analysis on performance to forecast
  • Partner with the product, marketing, & finance teams to forecast receipt recommendations to support topline targets
  • Ensure receipt accuracy and execute new product releases & obsolete SKU terminations
  • Forecast inventory risk & provide recommendations to mitigate identified threats
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations on inventory-related questions to cross-functional partners

Skills and Characteristics

  • Motivated self-starter who is comfortable with doing dives into large sets of data
  • Highly organized – with the ability organize and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines
  • Detail oriented & analytical – with the ability extrapolate actionable insights to drive positive business strategy
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with team, peers and cross functional partners
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; thrive in an environment that can be quite ambiguous


  • BA / BS w/ 2-3 years of work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel – comfortability with database modeling and advanced formulas
  • Proficient in retail math
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills
  • Work in a fast paced, time sensitive, startup environment; at times will need to support general operations responsibilities
  • Some travel required (once a quarter)
