Senior Email Marketing Manager

NatureBox is looking for a passionate, creative and detail-oriented Senior CRM Manager. Reporting to the Head of Acquisition Marketing, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and executing CRM strategies, with a strong focus on testing and constant optimization. This is a new role focused on customer database management, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to develop new acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns that drive aggressive growth in our email channel. The ideal candidate is data savvy and has proven marketing and leadership experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an overall CRM strategy leveraging email and app/push notifications
  • Create and deploy relevant customer segmentation and cohort-specific targeting strategy
  • Implement ad-hoc, trigger-based and automated email and direct mail campaigns deployed through our internal database and email service provider
  • Oversee email campaign execution, including creative trafficking, list management, campaign set up, implementation, execution and analysis
  • Drive A/B testing roadmap and lead implementation of pre-test analysis, test design, execution, statistical measurement and post-test analysis
  • Define, document and implement campaign data requirements, business rules, processes and procedures
  • Identify and partner with new technologies and vendors
  • Create and manage program budgets, define KPIs to measure success and provide forecasts to ensure accurate channel planning

Experience and Skills:

  • 5 – 7 years experience in email, CRM and database marketing
  • Experience managing direct mail campaigns a plus
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations
  • Good understanding of emerging CRM technologies
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of on-time delivery
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to direct resources who do not report directly to you
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, with its fast pace and fluid nature; comfortable delivering results with a small, lean team
  • Terrific interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS required
