Inventory Planning Analyst

NatureBox.com is a high-growth e-commerce company that is reinventing the way customers purchase nutritious foods and groceries. We've started with focus on the $64 billion snack market, selling monthly subscriptions that allow customers to conveniently learn about, discover and enjoy foods. We are not just building an e-commerce business; all of our products are branded "NatureBox" and we are building a brand. 

We are looking for a smart and eager individual with strong work ethics to be our inventory planning analyst. This individual will support our operations team in creating, managing and executing our inventory plans to help drive our sales growth.

Responsibilities:

Create sku level buy recommendations that support topline inventory targets

Work w/ product and finance team in receipt recommendations

Manage appropriate inventory levels across multiple facilities and mitigate inventory risks; report against key performance indicators (KPIs)

Gather data and provide recommendations to support our product and cost strategies

Recommend new product buy quantities and hindsight performance

Ensure receipt accuracy and execute new product releases

Execute and manage system updates in our warehouse management system

Partner w/ our warehouses to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained across the supply chain

Skills and Characteristics:

  • Self-starter; ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Analytical with great attention to detail; ability to evaluate quantitative data and translate information into actionable solutions to drive positive business results
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with team, peers and cross functional partners
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; thrive in an environment that can be quite ambiguous

Requirement:

  • BA / BS w/ 1-2 years of work experience
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in retail math
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills
  • Work in a fast paced, time sensitive, startup environment; at times will need to support general operations responsibilities
  • Some travel required (once a quarter)
