Food Service Sales Manager

Job Summary

The foodservice account manager is an integral position at NatureBox where you will actively manage existing accounts while identifying and bringing on new accounts in this fast growing channel.  

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage existing customers orders and sales development
  • Manage and leverage the relationship with our broker partners
  • Manage and leverage our relationship as an approved Foodbuy customer
  • Generate and qualify new sales leads through multiple channels
  • Maintain a working sales funnel of new opportunities
  • Actively track sales data and hit all required metrics
  • Be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of customer types
  • Work collaboratively across multiple departments – Operations, Marketing, Finance and Customer Service
  • Travel throughout the US – seeing customers and attending industry events

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors Degree, preferred, and 5+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
  • Previous experience in broadline foodservice distribution, foodservice distribution or office coffee sales - preferred   
  • Technically proficient and experience working with CSR information systems
  • A great communicator and solutions-focused, resourceful, determined and creative in your approach to selling
  • Highly driven to succeed and exceed your sales targets
  • Efficient and strategic in sourcing potential customers in your territory
  • Build meaningful relationships with your prospects, providing solutions and information on our products and services.
